  1. Thank you very much for updating one of my favorite series. You guys definitely made my day. ありがとうございます.

  2. Thank you for the translation. You really do a good job, I don’t think I ever met a group, that does so well. The english is flawless and the scanlation itself is very clean. I enjoy this manga and I do so even more because of your excellent work.

    • Hehe, tallrice and fallacy make a good team!!! It’s really nice of you to give us such high praise! We do our best to keep the quality and not sacrifice on release time~

      See you around, Gipsy!

  3. Yesyesyesyes! Thanks SCS, and especially you Pimelea; you know how much I love this series.

    Keep up the good work!

P.S.: As promised, still keeping tabs on Shion no Ou as well – with reason. That manga was way above my original expectations of it.

    • Oh dear o(*////▽////*)o*blush You’re especially welcome, Andalamar! It’s getting pretty intense, isn’t it? I loved that crepe suzette image with the fire!

I’ll see you back soon then!

  4. I went through all of the chapters in a day. This is an excellent manga and you fellas are doing God’s work. Thank you very much.

  5. It’s been said countless times, but thank you so much for taking the time to translate this amazing series. Releasing it in volumes instead of chapters is pretty cool. Does doing it this way actually give you more free time to yourselves compared to doing releases by chapter? I’ve known a lot of translation groups who have gotten so overwhelmed by working on a series or two that they end up simply dropping the projects altogether, so setting aside time for yourselves is very important.

    • Hmm, I’m not sure if it’s easier or harder, actually, but that is definitely one of the key considerations. There is only one day that I have to make the release post uploads, etc, but it takes a lot longer than a single chapter, so I guess it saves me more days though~

As for translating and editing, doesn’t really affect the translator, but it seems to save the editor some time and makes the QCing all a single process rather than per chapter.

We definitely have lots going on though… most of us work or are in university or something like that, so there’s always an internal conflict of ‘to scanlate or not to scanlate’ at any given moment ^_^; On that note… I better go to the library and get some studying done~~

      • Well, it goes without saying, but be sure all of you get plenty of rest and time to yourselves. You’re doing this for free, as far as I know, and people like us who do nothing but eat up your hard work may seem like we feel “entitled” sometimes, but don’t let it get to you. Obviously I can’t speak for everyone and their feelings on the matter, but still, release when you want to release, work when you want to work, and not when you don’t.

It may seem strange for a total stranger to say this, especially when you’ve gotten so much positive feedback from fans of your translations, but again, I’ve seen a lot of translation/scanlation groups go under from overwork or stress from people making demands and pushing them to rush their work.

We all know you’re working on it, so waiting a little longer for releases won’t hurt anyone. We all truly appreciate all of your efforts.

        • Haha, yeah, definitely no pay… SCS doesn’t have any ads or donation button either (^_-)~* and that’s quite intentional… (there are wordpress ads that are there because our blog is free and there are ads on batoto… but we don’t get revenue from either and although we have received one or two donations, they are from people who really went out of their way to help us out, we don’t like soliciting…)

That said, if anyone does have money to spend on manga, I really hope you’ll buy some of the raws, we make an effort to post raw links on all release posts, so please support the authors!!!

And, to be honest, I think a lot of dissatisfaction with scanlators is partly the fault of how groups treat readers… readers asking about when another chapter will come out or why something is going so slowly aren’t always being unreasonable, we answer to the best of our knowledge and do our best to work on the releases and hope that you’ll see them soon. I think it’s usually curiosity or planning, and I’m happy to tell people what I know.

<3 you all for following SCS's releases!!! And comments are great! #vanity

  6. Thanks heaps for these translations. There’s something about this series that just makes me want to keep reading. When it had went almost 2 months without scans I was getting worried that you guys had dropped it but out of nowhere a whole volume comes out.

Keep up the awesome work guys.

    • Not dropped, definitely not~ So look forward to more! We’ll probably go with another volume release, though we might revert to chapters, still thinking about it, but it’s nice to see all the comments on this release! We’ll do our best, glad you enjoyed it~

  7. Thanks a lot, I really love this series. I’m glad it doesn’t end with a giant cliffhanger so I can wait patiently for the next chapters.

    • Glad you enjoyed the release!!

And I’m really sorry, but I’m going to delete the link… It’s really nice that you help everyone and spread the love of the series, I support that~ But we hope that people use the raw links in the posts if they want to support the author and read ahead. There are scanned raws available online, yes, but note that online scans are essentially distribution of pirated material… And yes, I realise scanlation is dodgy too (though I think most scanlators would like to think there are key difference considering the absence of english licenses) but I don’t mean to be righteous or anything, just that we can find the raws on google so no need to post links~ Thanks!
